Adam Kosloff’s Web Site Explaining Why Low Carb Diets Work

I often listen to my buddy Jimmy Moore at the Livin La Vida Low Carb Show and he had this great guest, Adam Kosloff, explaining why low carbohydrate diets work in helping people combat obesity.

If you have not read the awesome book by Gary Taubes titled Good Calories, Bad Calories, Adam does a great job summarizing the 600+ page book.

About Michelle Burton

I am really into health and nutrition, especially after losing 60 pounds and keeping it off after 5 years. I want to motivate as many people as I can to keep the weight off and that it is a doable process. I espouse a low carb/paleo lifestyle.

  1. Nora says:

Yeah, but doing boat loads of coke combats obesity, too.

That’s the problem with this kind of nonsense.

    Binging and purging works.

    Anorexia works.

    Drug abuse works.

    Eating nothing but Skittles works.

Just because something makes you lose weight doens’t mean it’s the smart thing to do or a healthy thing to do.

At some point, you’ve gotta eat like human beings were created to eat, and that is not a lard, bacon and headcheese casserole every day.

Sorry — I’ve seen too many people fail on these types of diets, and when they fail, they fail big.

    • Thanks for the comment.

I have to disagree with you. Many people eat too much refined carbohydrates, sugars, etc. Since I have been eating this way, I find I eat
way more fruits and vegetables than I did before 3 or years ago. I believe it is just a myth that low-carb equates eating all the lard and meat that they you want. Low carb diet in my opinion is a no junk food diet.
